Book launch and Competition

Fly Anywhere in Europe for £1 return…

Next up - how to fly anywhere in Europe with British Airways for £1 return. Impossible? No it isn’t. This is what you do:

• Sign up for credit cards that give air miles for every pound spent. The British Airways Amex cards and the Avios Barclaycard for example. 

• Join the BA Executive Club (it’s free) and use those Avios to offset the cost of flights.  

• Take advantage of the BA £1 European flights, that allow you to fly anywhere in Europe for £1 return plus some Avios (subject to availability).

• Use the Executive Club helpline number if you are having trouble finding your flight online - there is a charge for booking but it can be worth it as I’ve often got much better flights and prices using the expertise of the CS team. The number is on the BA website. 

• Know that other airlines such as American Airlines, Iberia and Quatar also allow flights to be booked with Avios and award Avios for booking flights with them, as does BA. 

• Book flights as far in advance as possible to get the best availability of Avios flights. 

This year alone I am travelling to Latvia, Corsica, Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey and Slovenia, all for £1 return per flight, plus some Avios.

Recipe of the month

On to food. This month’s recipe is one of my personal favourites – Protein Fruit Pancakes – a large serving of four pancakes, ricotta and greek yoghurt and mixed fresh berries – all for under 400 calories and packing a whopping punch of 30g of protein.
